Love in every bite: nick & kari's unforgetable flavor adventure 🍜💖

Nick & Kari, a sweet couple from Scotland, chose Vietnam for their first big trip after two years together. And where better to start than Hanoi? Within hours of landing, they joined our food tour, ready to dive into the flavors of the city!🎉

They were fearless foodies - trying everything from crispy banh goi (fried dumplings) to Linh's challenge of adding shrimp paste to their bowls of freshwater crab noodle soup (they were reluctant to try it at first because of the smell so strong, but trust us - it's delicious!) and boom, they were hooked! 😋

At home, Nick does most of the cooking and cleaning (a perfect future husband, right?😜). But this time Kari showed off her skills by making Nick a plate of green papaya salad. 🥗 And the sweetest moment? Nick kissing Kari with the salad in his hand. It was love on a plate! Who knew a papaya salad could bring such love? 💕

This tour isn't just about the food - it's about the connections we make and the memories we create. We spent time chatting with local vendors, learning their stories, practicing a little Vietnamese and immersing ourselves in the culture - mastering chopsticks, trying on conical hats and exploring the lively streets together. Along the way, we shared travel tips, lots of laughs and heartfelt moments that made it all feel even more special.

By the end, they told us it was the perfect way to begin their 3-week adventure in Vietnam. Moments like these make every tour unforgettable—for them and for us. 🥰

Love on a plate of green papaya salad 💕. Many couples have tried it and fallen in love—with the dish and each other! And you? Would you like to give it a try and create your own love story?😝 🥗✨

Suddenly, it started raining, but that just made our adventure even more exciting and memorable! 🌧️✨😜

The BBQ pork skewer – so delicious and absolutely perfect for this weather! 🍢❄️

Kari & Nick posing with Mrs. Mai before diving into a deliciously soft pyramid rice dumpling 🍃🍚. Nick even asked Linh how to thank Mrs. Mai in Vietnamese. ☺️

We all agreed the salad here is absolutely delicious, but it’s even better when it’s made by Kari! Look at their happy faces!!! 😍💖

Nick's favourite? Definitely the crispy banh goi (fried dumplings) 😋. They taste even better when they're fresh, hot and eaten on the spot! 🥟🔥

Here's the freshwater crab noodle soup - made even more flavourful with a spoonful of shrimp paste. Trust us, it's a game changer! 🍜✨

And it was so much fun watching Mari practice with the chopsticks – it’s definitely not as easy as it looks! 🥢😄

Kari absolutely fell in love with the colorful lanterns hanging in the street. We just couldn’t pass by without snapping a pic! 🌟📸

What better way to end a food tour than with a refreshing coconut coffee? Nick and Kari absolutely loved it! 🥥☕️

1.2.3. Zooooô!

We even practiced cheering together in Vietnamese. Cheers to you! 🥂😍
