From Poland to "wow-land" where hanoi's tradition, culture and local delights await ๐Ÿœ๐ŸŒŸ

Today, we had the joy of welcoming three friends from Poland on their very first trip to Vietnam! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฑโœˆ๏ธ And where better to begin their journey than with ๐‡๐š๐ง๐จ๐ข ๐„๐š๐ญ & ๐„๐ฑ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐ž โ€“ the perfect start to discovering our vibrant capital! ๐Ÿ™๏ธโค๏ธ

We started with a tasty bang โ€“ ๐๐ž๐ฅ๐ข๐œ๐ข๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ฅ๐จ๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐จ๐, of course! From breakfast to lunch and even some tasty snacks, we explored street vendors, bustling market stalls, and hidden gems to savor the best of Hanoi. And guess what? Our friends couldnโ€™t get enough of bรกnh cuแป‘n (steamed rice rolls) and bรบn vแป‹t (duck noodle soup). โœจ Fun fact: Aleksandraโ€™s group shared that Vietnamese cuisine is so loved in Poland, there are plenty of Vietnamese restaurants back home. No wonder they were so excited to dig in!

Next, it was time for the โ€˜๐ž๐ฑ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐žโ€™ part! We wandered through Hanoiโ€™s vibrant markets, stepped inside traditional homes, and visited ancient pagodas. To make the experience even more special, we tried our hands at Vietnamese music with instruments like the ฤ‘ร n bแบงu (zither) and cแป“ng chiรชng (bronze gongs). And to top it all off, we unleashed our creativity by painting nรณn lรก (conical hats), getting a true taste of Hanoiโ€™s daily life and artistry.

Just ๐Ÿ” ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ, but what ๐š ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ž๐ญ๐ž ๐ ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฌ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐›๐ž๐š๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฅ, ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐‡๐š๐ง๐จ๐ข! Swipe through the photos and come along with us for the ride!

Say hi to Aleksandra, her boyfriend, and her sister Anna! ๐Ÿ‘‹ Itโ€™s their first time in Vietnam ๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿ‡ณ, and they joined us on a fun-filled "eat and explore" adventure around Hanoi ๐Ÿœ๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿฅข

With our guide, Milton, leading the way, they explored the busy markets, watched locals shop, trade (and sometimes bargain ๐Ÿ˜‰), and go about their morning routines. The markets were full of life and energy ๐ŸŒŸ, and our Polish friends got to see what daily life in Vietnam is really like. They loved every moment! โค๏ธ

In places where you can find almost anything, our friends tried something truly unique: trแบงu โ€“ betel leaf parcels, a Vietnamese cultural tradition ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’Œ

With the help of the friendly vendor who skillfully prepared these beautifully arranged treats, they got to experience a taste of Vietnamโ€™s heritage. Do you think they enjoyed the flavor? Let us know in the comments! โœจ

Riding a cyclo through the heart of the Old Quarter is always an exciting adventure โ€“ just look at their smiles! ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿšฒ This weather + a cyclo ride around the Old Quarter = pure bliss! ๐ŸŒžโœจ

And waa โ€“ hereโ€™s a super unique and interesting stop on our journey: a traditional musicianโ€™s house! ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ  Can you guess what we did here?

Uncle Cฦฐแปng (the friendly uncle in the photo!) welcomed us into his home for a traditional Vietnamese tea and snacks ๐Ÿต๐Ÿฐ โ€“ the kind of hospitality that warms your heart right away! He also gave us a peek into his passion for traditional Vietnamese musical instruments ๐ŸŽถ, which he and his wife have been crafting and selling for years.

Our friends even got to hear a soothing lullaby and a fun โ€œHappy Birthdayโ€ song played on the ฤ‘ร n bแบงu (a one-of-a-kind Vietnamese instrument with a haunting sound that tugs at your heartstrings!) ๐ŸŽตโœจ

With experiences like this, who wouldnโ€™t want to give it a try? ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŽ‰

A full-filled journey wouldn't be complete without delicious food, right? ๐Ÿ˜‹ Join us as we enjoy some freshly steamed bรกnh cuแป‘n! Watching the hot, delicate rolls being made at the tiny street-side stall while savoring them warm โ€“ oh, itโ€™s simply the best! ๐Ÿฅข

Besides that, our friends also tried a super unique dish you might not have heard of before โ€“ bรบn vแป‹t (duck noodle soup)!!! ๐Ÿฆ†๐Ÿœ What do you think it tastes like?

Spoiler alert: they absolutely loved it! ๐Ÿ˜ Aleksandraโ€™s boyfriend was so hooked, he slurped up every last bite and left not a single drop! ๐Ÿ‘

And next up, we visited a spot with a flavor full of history โ€“ a classic tube house over 100 years old, a perfect example of old Vietnamese architecture. ๐Ÿ โœจ Itโ€™s like stepping back in time and saying, โ€œHey, this is what homes looked like in the good old days!โ€

Time to recharge with a refreshing, soul-soothing cup of chรจ!(Vietnamese sweet soup) ๐Ÿงโœจ Sometimes, eating is about more than just the taste โ€“ itโ€™s about the sights too. Watching the vibrant ingredients come together is what makes enjoying chรจ not just delicious, but a feast for the eyes as well! ๐Ÿ‘€๐ŸŒˆ

And tadaaa โ€“ here comes the super fun part! ๐ŸŽ‰ A mini workshop on painting conical hats (where your creativity meets a strong dose of tradition)! ๐Ÿ–Œ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘’ Letโ€™s get artsy with a touch of Vietnamese heritage!

First things first, we start with the outlines! ๐ŸŽจ Milton was speechless because Annaโ€™s drawing skills were off the charts! ๐Ÿ˜ฒโœจ Letโ€™s see what her final masterpiece turns out to be! ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ–Œ๏ธ

Once the outlines are done, itโ€™s time for the colors! ๐ŸŽจ Aleksandraโ€™s boyfriend went with the lotus flower, Vietnamโ€™s national flower โ€“ talk about a perfect choice! ๐ŸŒธโœจ

Aleksandra decided to go with the Vietnamese flag! ๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿ‡ณA beautiful nod to the country sheโ€™s exploring

Wala โ€“ hereโ€™s the result! ๐ŸŽ‰ Milton finally got to see the heartfelt art creations from Aleksandraโ€™s group, and wow, they turned out beautifully! ๐Ÿ˜โœจ What do you think of their masterpieces?
