Meet Alla, her husband, and their two daughters, who live far apart but finally got to share some precious moments together during their holiday in Vietnam! ❤️ This was not only their first time in Vietnam but also their very first visit to our Hanoi. So, what better way to get to know our charming capital than through its flavors? And that’s how they found themselves on our Taste of Hanoi tour! 🥢✨
Just as much as we adore Hanoi’s culinary soul, Alla’s family embraced every dish with curiosity and excitement. But guess what stole the spotlight? The humble Vietnamese donut! 🍩💥 They were totally caught off guard by this small treat’s big surprise. Want to know what made this little wonder such a showstopper for them?

When in Hanoi, you have to try bún riêu cua (river crab noodle soup) – a delicious bowl of rich, savory broth with a hint of tanginess! And guess what? Our family is totally obsessed with it! 😋🍜

Known as one of Vietnam's rustic specialties, it checks all the boxes: tasty, nutritious, and affordable.

And here it is – a dish that’s perfect to enjoy any time of day! Can you guess what it is? 😏 Alla and her daughter were absolutely fascinated by the open “kitchen.” Watching the vendor skillfully prepare the dish while the smoke rises was such a mesmerizing sight! 🍽️👀

Enjoying steamed rolled rice pancakes at a small table by the roadside – that’s the true Vietnamese way! And once again, the whole Alla family says YESS!!! 😄🍽️

Here it is, the dish that surprised the Alla family the most: Vietnamese donut! 🍩 Sounds familiar, right? But these little treats are nothing like the donuts you’re thinking of! The outer shell is light and crispy, while the inside is soft and chewy, filled with a rich mung bean paste – truly a one-of-a-kind Vietnamese donut!

Next up, a popular local snack – bánh giò (pyramid rice dumpling)! 🥟 The vendor here? Well, let’s just say she’s incredibly sweet and friendly – definitely adds to the charm of this tasty treat! 😄💛

What makes it extra special? The homemade chili sauce! 🌶️✨ When paired with pyramid rice dumpling, it’s an explosion of flavors that makes it absolutely delicious! 😋🔥

This is another spot that Alla’s family absolutely loved – a cozy cafe tucked away in a narrow alley. 🏙️ Through this hidden gem of a lane, they were welcomed with a killer view of the bustling intersection, full of cars and life! 🚗💨

Such a perfect place to sip coffee and watch Hanoi's vibrant rhythm unfold. ☕🌆

And that’s Alla’s family’s food tour adventure in Hanoi! 😍 Want to experience the same mouthwatering dishes and hidden gems? Come join us on our Taste of Hanoi tour and create your own unforgettable food journey! 🥢🍽️✨
