Flavourful feast & fun: Harmony's first family food adventure in hanoi🥢✨

After a 9 hour flight, Harmony and Jason, along with their lovely daughters Pearl & Tilly, jumped straight into a food tour with us - and what a start to their Vietnam adventure! "Were they tired?" - Yes! But the incredible flavours of Hanoi made it all worthwhile. 🌏🍜

At first Harmony was worried about her daughters, but in the end both girls discovered their favourite foods - even rolling up their sleeves to help make green papaya salad with beef jerky! The dish became Harmony's favourite, not just for its tangy, refreshing taste, but because it was made with so much love by her daughters. 💕

One of the most heartwarming moments was seeing the whole family sitting together on tiny stools around a (also tiny) table, on the sidewalk, sharing a steaming hot “bánh khúc” - cudweed balls, just like how our Vietnamese families gather and share the food, the story of our daily lives. The flavours were a complete surprise and delight to everyone! What a simple moment, but full of happiness!

Jason, always the adventurous foodie, loved almost every dish and ensured there was no food waste. His absolute favorite? A hearty bowl of freshwater crab noodle soup that left him grinning from ear to ear. 🦀🍲
