Coming home - exploring anew

Meet Hà and her family! 🇦🇺🍜 Hà’s been living in Australia and hadn’t been back to Hanoi in l0 years. Coming from the South, she didn’t get the chance to explore the capital much. This trip was extra special as this time, Hà brought her husband and adorable little Lili – and guess what? It’s Lili’s very first time in Hanoi! 😍🎉

So, what better way to rediscover the capital’s charm than with our Hanoi Hopping tour? We designed this to be the perfect family-friendly experience, packed with mouthwatering bites, fun art and craft activities. Guarantee to keep the little one excited all the way and brings the whole family closer together 😋✨

We explored the vibrant local market, and of course, we had to treat ourselves to some delicious snacks on the way. Can you guess what they had on hand?😋

What’s a more iconic way to experience Hanoi’s Old Quarter than hopping on a cyclo? It’s a fun, scenic ride through all the sights, sounds, and city vibes!

And let’s not forget the super friendly, enthusiastic and adorable cyclo drivers who bring so much joy to the experience at the back! Of course, our fam snapped a super cute photo with them – can’t get more Hanoi than that! 😍📸

Here's a spot that steals hearts, and Ha's family is no exception. She absolutely loved it after seeing the story of Mads' family and asked us to include it in her trip. Imagine having your own handmade wooden stamp carved by an artisan with 30 years of experience! 🖋️✨ Our little Lili was totally excited about it too! She got her own personalized stamp – how cool is that for a keepsake? 😍 And check this out: the stamp master even jumped in for a family photo! 📸

And while walking down the street, we came across a scene that's so typical of Hanoi life – a bunch of uncles gathered around for a lively game of chess! ♟️ Just a little love for the game and some good company, and voilà – the sidewalk turns into a super cozy “friendly” gathering spot! 😄🫶

Next stop for our lovely family: a charming 19th-century house that keeps the almost intact structure of Hanoi’s traditional old houses. Here, time seems to stand still, letting us catch a glimpse of the past with its nostalgic vibes and timeless beauty. 🏛️✨

Our family and the old kitchen of this historic house!

At this spot, Lili's dad tried his hand at turning the rice mill, and let’s just say it wasn’t as easy as it looked! 😅 Then, Lili stepped in with her own moves and made it look effortless! Hà was so impressed: "You’re even stronger than your dad!" 💪

After a bit of exploring, it’s time to refuel with some “vitamin food” for our little one, and here it is – a refreshing Vietnamese salad! 🥗 So light, so fresh, so perfect for a quick energy boost!

And these light bites are usually enjoyed in small local markets, with stalls lined up along narrow alleys. You get to munch on your food while soaking in the sounds of people chatting and motorbikes zooming by. So much life in every bite! 😄🎶

Now comes the part the family really loved – a mini craft workshop! 🎨✨ Lili and her dad decided to paint a lovely design on a conical hat, while Hà got busy with a little bamboo dragonfly! ✨ Such a fun way to add a personal touch to their Hanoi experience!

Dad showed Lili his decoration. Sometimes, you’ve got to check on your “art partner’s” progress – just to see if their masterpiece is turning out better than yours! 😄🎨

And here’s Hà’s finished piece – the stunning bamboo dragonfly! Truly a masterpiece, it’s absolutely gorgeous and painted with so much artistry! 😍✨

Here’s little Lili with her beautiful conical hat, alongside her mom’s bamboo dragonfly – both are absolute treasures! 🌟

Tada – here’s the family’s fabulous creations! 🎨✨ What an epic day in Hanoi, full of laughter, fun, and some serious artistic skills! 😄

Want to make your own awesome memories like this? Join us for a day full of adventure, food, and fun – Hanoi style! 🌟🍜
