Sometimes, watching new friends experiencing Hanoi travel in their own special way reminds us of how wonderfully diverse our city truly is.
Today, we invite you to see Hanoi through a poetic lens, as experienced by Gregoire and Araima, a charming couple from France. They've fallen for the little things that seem so simple yet are so special in this city: the narrow alleys, the sweet scent of incense smoke, the lively brushstrokes on conical hats, ...

These temples are a rare sight in France, so our couple was thrilled to visit! They were also excited to try their hand at lighting incense – a peaceful, spiritual experience that left them with a sense of calm and connection to the ancient traditions of Hanoi culture.

Craving the perfect balance of lively energy and serene vibes? A local market in Hanoi is where you’ll find it! 😍 But we didn’t just stop at looking – we dived into the flavors too! 😋 We tried steamed pork sausage, a must-have dish for every Vietnamese Lunar New Year celebration. You can eat it on its own, with rice – it’s always tasty! ✨

A stall overflowing with colorful treats like this is a visual feast, and it's always a hit with everyone. You'll find an array of goodies such as sticky rice cake, pickled vegetables, steamed pork sausage, pickled onions, and more!

And we continued our journey at Quan Đế Temple, where we discovered a unique stone instrument. Being a music lover, Gregoire couldn’t resist the temptation to give it a little try and play around with it! 🎶😊

Of course – here’s a picture of our lovely couple under the colorful lanterns! 🌟🎏

Gregoire and Araima shared with Cream about their chilly mountain trip in Vietnam just a few days ago, and without missing a beat, Cream took them to a place to warm their spirits: yes, you guessed it – time for some delicious steamed rolled rice pancakes! 😋🌯

Gregoire got a hot plate of rolled rice pancakes from the friendly shop owner, who made them just right. The dish was as delightful as ever! 🍽️!

Here’s a handy tip for those not so skilled with chopsticks: pair your chopsticks with a spoon! Fun fact: many Vietnamese people eat this way too! 😄
This place quickly became a favorite for our couple: a charming tube house dating back to the 19th century. They were captivated by the thoughtful design, where open spaces allow for fresh air and natural light to fill every corner. 🌿💡

After a little stroll, it was time to refuel with a bowl of Duck noodle soup! This dish, totally new to them, was a pleasant surprise. They finished it all, leaving no trace behind. What do you think the taste of this dish could be like? 😋

Here’s the perfect way to take in the poetic charm of Hanoi – a peaceful cyclo ride, side by side, as they stroll through the streets, enjoying the beauty of the city. 🚲

Now it’s time to test the artistic skills of our two friends from France, who are absolutely full of creativity! 🎨

But first, let’s raise a glass with a delicious Vietnamese coffee! ☕

The way to say egg coffee is delicious without actually saying egg coffee is delicious 😋☕️

After a feast, it's time for some colorful hand art! 🎨✨

And the result! We absolutely love how they express their love for Vietnam! 💖🇻🇳
